A cruise liner with many Indian tourists have docked at Male’ harbor. Many tourists from the cruiser are now spending time in Male’ and Hulhumale’.
Some Indian tourists who spoke to Miadhu News said that even though Maldives is so close to India, they never realized that Maldives is very beautiful. A tourist from Andaman Islands said that even their island is beautiful but there are differences between Maldivian beaches and their beaches. Another person said that he was astonished with the clearness of the water and the whiteness of the beaches.
A passenger from the cruiser said that there were around 350 people onboard the ship and most of them are from India. A North Indian said that he was a government staff and his trip was covered by a paid holiday scheme of the government.
