Housing Minister Dr.Muizzu have said that the L.Gan harbor project is proof that the government does not favor a specific political ideology.
Gan is represented in the parliament by MDP member Fayyaz Ismail and Dr.Muizzu said that, it is evidence that the government does not favor any party when it comes to developing the nation.
Dr.Muizzu made this statement on twitter earlier today. Meanwhile, the government has budgeted to develop harbors of various islands this year. These islands include Th.Madifushi, F.Nilandhoo, B.Thulhaadhoo, Sh.Kanditheemu and K.Gaafaru. These projects are going on even now.
Out of the 7.6 billion Rufiyaa allocated for PSIP in this year’s budget, 2.6 billion Rufiyaa was allocated to develop roads and harbors of islands. Government passed a budget of 26.8 billion Rufiyaa for the year 2017.
