Maldive Gas wins ‘Excellence in Governance Award’

Maldives Gas has won the Excellence in Governance Award. This award is an award given to the best subsidiary of STO which governs the company in accordance with the code of conduct made by STO.

MD of Maldive Gas Abdullah Maumoon accepted the award on behalf of the company last night at a ceremony held to mark the 52nd anniversary of STO.

In last night’s ceremony, staffs of STO who served the company for 15, 20, 25 and 30 years were given awards of recognition. In addition, awards of excellence were given to staffs who excelled in various fields.

The awards were handed over by Chief Guest of the ceremony Tourism Minister Moosa Zameer, MD of STO Ahmed Shaheer and Chairman of STO Hussain Salim.
In addition, the song of STO was launched last night and a presentation showing the history of STO was presented during the ceremony.
