Dancer Karen Clifton and her husband Kevin has spent holidays in the Maldives and shared their amazing experiences on Dailymail. Karen Clifton is a World Mambo Champion and a TV personality. She appears on British TV show Strictly Come Dancing and US TV show So You Think You Can Dance.
She and her husband Kevin spent their holidays in Sun Siyam Iru Fushi a 52-acre resort located in Noonu Atoll. Writing about the villa they stayed in she described how she could see fish swimming underneath the glass sections of the floor of the villa. Talking about the ocean, she wrote that the ocean shimmered as if it was covered in diamonds.
She and her husband received a massage from the spa of the resort and she said that they both enjoyed the pampering and it helped them to reconnect with each other. The couple also had a chance to experience Maldivian cuisine with the locals. They prepared Bajiya (Maldivian version of Samosa) and Kiruboakiba (creamy coconut custard) and wrote that they enjoyed it.
Karen and Kevin enjoyed other activities such as scuba diving, fishing, and dolphin cruise. She said that the dolphin cruise was the most enjoyable experience she had during the vacation.
She described the vacation as the “perfect break” and says that it helped them recharge their batteries.
Maldives is a well-known tourist destination among high end travelers around the world. Often celebrities fly off to the Maldives when they want a break from their busy lives.
