President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has proposed “Iqthisaadhee Fudhuntherikan – Ijuthimaaee Hamajehun”, as the National Theme for 2017.
The President has appealed to all state agencies to use the theme within all literature beginning 15th February 2017.
The theme, in English, translates as “Economic Prosperity – Social Harmony”.
