Imaam of the Islamic Center of Maldives Sheikh Muhammad Latheef have said that using haram products leads to cancer.
Delivering the Friday sermon today at the Islamic Center, Sheikh Latheef said that on average 15 million people die from cancer. He said that in Maldives, cancer is the second most common life threatening disease.
“There are many reasons for cancer. Those include drinking alcohol, smoking, and consuming products that are haram” said the Imaam. In addition, the Imaam also asked people to help those with cancer and other diseases as well.
These are not the only reasons for cancer, however these habits increase the risk of cancer and many other diseases. Hence, we should refrain from using these products.
In addition, energy drinks also causes various health problems. Even though it does not cause cancer, it damages the organs and make the organs more prone to cancer. Hence these are important things to keep in mind.
