A man has been injured in an accident in Kulhuduhfushi. The accident happened around 10:45 am this morning. A car driving on Ameeny Magu crashed with a motorcycle. The man injured was the man who was riding the motorcycle.
The man has been identified as Yousuf Ali 56, of Kulhuduhfushi. The driver of the car was MP for Kulhuduhfushi Muhammd Nasheed. Nasheed did not suffer any injuries but both the car and the cycle were damaged.
Yousuf’s left leg was broken as a result of the accident, however he did not get any fatal injuries. MP Nasheed has agreed to pay for all the medical expenses of Yousuf and delayed his departure to Male’. Yousuf is being treated at Kulhuduhfushi Regional Hospital now and he is to be taken to Male’ for further treatment.
