Local cuisine from Maldivian cafés are popular among tourists

Local cuisine from Maldivian cafés are popular among tourists. In addition, tourists find the prices and the services from these restaurants also quite reasonable.

This was revealed by tourists who participated in a survey conducted by an international travel magazine.
“It should be noted that various type of local delicacies are available at affordable prices from different islands of Maldives. Rice, fried fish, curry, and salad costs just 3 dollars. Also, we do not need a vehicle to go and get these things.

The restaurants are located just 100 feet from the beach. Before entering just make sure that it is a café’. Prices are low in café’s” said a tourist.
They said that the services from these cafés are of acceptable standards.

“If we eat from a high-end restaurant it costs 8 to 12 dollars per meal. What we noticed is that the meals we get for 3 to 5 dollars from the cafés are also really good” said another tourist.
They noted the availability of fresh fish as well. “When we asked to prepare a good fish for us, they prepared fresh fish that was caught on the same day. Maldivian oceans are not polluted. There is no sign of any chemicals and hence the taste of the fish is good. It is delicious. To be honest, I have never eaten fish that is so fresh from anywhere else in the world” said a tourist.

The tourists also said that the price of the fish is also affordable even though it is fresh. “For only 15 dollars they barbecue red snappers weighing 5 kilograms. It is not possible to get a fish like this at this price anywhere else in the world” said the tourist.
