The judiciary has begun a conference aimed at improving the governance of judiciary. The name of the conference is “Strengthening judicial administration: Streamlining for high performance”.
The conference was organized by the Department of Judicial Administration and is being held at the Islamic Center. Chief Justice Abdullah Saeed inaugurated the conference.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chief Justice said that the judiciary will be strengthened when administrative tasks are also perfect. He said that, to achieve this goal, administrative staffs must also be trained.
The first paper submitted to the conference was a paper identifying actions that needs to be taken to improve administrative efficiency of the judiciary. The paper was proposed by Mariyam Faathin.
