MNDF lost weapons from the armory. Even though not much details have been revealed about it, it happened and even MNDF admitted it.
A bullet was found on a house in Himmafushi. The statement made by MNDF is worrisome. Now people are questioning whether other people, are in possession of weapons as well.
Firing a bullet without a gun is not possible. So who fired that bullet at the house? If not MNDF who else is in possession of weapons?
Some people say that no matter how much protective measures are taken, dangerous incidents occur in all countries. Hence, a bullet from MNDF ending up on a house in Himmafushi is no big deal according to some people. But, if the bullet was not fired by MNDF, then it certainly is worrisome.
The people can put their minds at ease once the investigation regarding the bullet is complete. Previously there was no fear like this because everyone knows that in Maldives, only MNDF has weapons. Today we do not know for sure because weapons were lost from MNDF armory.
Why is anyone else other than MNDF in possession of weapons?
