Reeko Moosa removed from MDP parliament group
MP for Hulhuhenveyru constituency Moosa Manik has been removed MDP’s parliamentary group.

In the first session of this year’s parliament the Speaker of the parliament announced that the elections has informed the parliament that Moosa has been removed from MDP and hence Moosa will be removed from the list of MDP parliament members.

Moosa said that he contributed a lot to MDP in the past 13 years and he was removed from the party without any mistake from his side. Moosa who is also the deputy speaker of the parliament, said that if MDP talks about democracy in the parliament he will respond to them even if he has to do it alone.

With the removal of Moosa, there will be only 21 members of MDP in the parliament. Moosa will be an independent member.
