Ibrahim Muaz have said that Maldivians are aware that Madam Fathun is the only first lady in Maldives to have worked so closely with the people of Maldives.
Speaking at a press conference held at Madam Faathun’s campaign office, Muaz said that her contributions did not start just today, but it began from the moment President Yameen started campaigning for presidency in 2013. Muaz said that Madam Faathun used a very small office with limited staffs in 2013 and that her hard work contributed a lot in President Yameen winning the elections.
Muaz said that her contribution can be seen in all areas and especially she prioritizes helping people who are disadvantaged in the society. Madam Faathun is well loved by the people, though MDP criticizes her for her charitable works.
