Disregarding the evidence collected by the police is a worrisome issue: Evila
MP for Thoddoo constituency Ibrahim Hassan have said that it is worrisome that the evidence collected by the police are disregarded by some authorities.

Speaking at the parliament yesterday, Ibrahim Hassan said that it is useless to make an evidence act if the authorities frequently disregard evidence reports written by the police. He said that he fully supports the evidence act and all such legislations are important. “It is with sadness I should say that authorities do not take action even in cases where evidence is available. Not matter what we pass it will be of no use if the responsible authorities should implement the laws” said Ibrahim Hassan.

He further said that it is the parliament members who are portraying the constitution as something which is of no value. In addition, he said that people should not be afraid to testify in courts and authorities must not be afraid to establish justice. He also said that no one should be afraid to say what is right, but it is the parliament members who area most scared of doing this. He said that the people know this because of the legislations passed by the parliament.
