A Sudanese software engineer has developed a game that develops friendship among people. The game can be played from computer and mobile devices.
Luyal Mayen, the software engineer said that he got this idea because of the internal conflicts in South Sudan. He said that he wanted to find a solution to the increased conflicts in the region.
Luyal said that the civil war in the country can be stopped when there is sense of friendship and harmony among people. “When people see, others being killed, they desire vengeance. The solution is everyone to have compassion and stop killing each other” said Luyal.
Some others have copied the games he developed. Some others are trying to develop similar games. At the moment his game can be played on Android platforms and also a board game has been developed.
The hero of the game is a guy named Salaam. His role is to put an end to war and bring peace to the world. The two board games also have this scenario.
