Chancellor of Maldives Islamic University Dr.Muhammad Shaheem Ali Saeed have said that the Islamic University will provide opportunities for students who are interested in pursuing higher education in the field of Quranic knowledge.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Dr.Shaheem said that the university will welcome students who are interested in studying Quranic knowledge. He said that the university will offer courses in the field up to graduate studies.
Islamic University has offered a scholarship to Ahmed Nabeeh who memorized the Quran. “The university will be always ready to guide and offer assistance to notable students such as him” said Dr.Shaheem.
In addition, Dr.Shaheem said that President Yameen created Islamic University to promote Islam and Quran and hence the university will always work towards achieving that goal. “Islamic University’s doors will always be open to those who are interesting in pursuing high studies. We will be always ready to welcome such students” said Dr.Shaheem
