Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim have said that the government will do anything to attain development and that for development anything is possible for the government.
The minister made this statement while speaking at Ga.Kolamaafushi yesterday in a ceremony held to launch the sewage and water systems project in the island. The minister said that President Yameen will do what is necessary to attain development.
“ To attain development there is nothing impossible for the government. The government will make it everything possible that is needed for development” said the minister. In addition, he said that with the ongoing projects the job market will also expand. The minister noted that there are good opportunities in Kolamaafushi.
Minister Thoriq also mentioned the government’s plan to develop a resort in Ga.Maarendhoo. “The government is working on the design process of the resort. Then, the islands will get jobs without going that far” said the minister.
