Olympians are really great – The artists are really talented : Akhilesh Mishra

Indian Ambassador to Maldives His Excellency Akhilesh Mishra have said that famous Maldivian music band Olmypians can perform really well and that their artists are extremely talented.

Speaking after a performance held by the Olmypians at the Indian Cultural Center, the ambassador said that the whole performance was perfect.

Speaking at the beginning of the show, Akhilesh Mishra said that the purpose of such shows is to strengthen the relation between the people of Maldives and India through such cultural events.
“Conducting such shows and bringing in Indian artists and conduct shows with Maldivian artists, will strengthen the relation between the people of two countries” said Akhilesh Mishra.
In addition he said that music is a good way to form relations and also it is an area that has a lot of potential for those who want to pursue careers in it. He said that the cultural center will provide opportunities for Maldivian youth who are interested in pursuing careers in music.
