MP for Galolhu MP Mahloof has returned to Maldives after seeking health care in India. Mahloof went to India on 21st of this month and returned yesterday. Correctional service has now taken him back to prison.
Mahloof went to India even before on 11thDecember 2015. He came back on 21st December 2015. Mahloof’s wife said that the doctor who consulted him in India advised him to consult again on 2nd March. Also, she said that the doctor prescribed three injections per month.
Mahloof is currently serving jail time of 10 months on two different cases. He was jailed for 6 months for obstructing police officers and in the second case he was jailed for 4 months for trying to escape from police custody. He will finish serving time in June 2017.
