Maldives proud of the achievements by TC Sports Club : Dr.Shainee

Fisheries and Agriculture Minister Dr.Muhammad Shainee have said that the whole country is proud of TC Sports Club for winning the first international championship in an international football tournament.

Dr.Shainee went to the airport to receive TC Sports Club last night, wearing the national jersey. Speaking to the press at the airport, Dr.Shainee said that the current government focuses a lot on sports and youth. He said that hence the government will always recognize such achievements.

Dr.Shainee said that while President Yameen previously stated that a win in a sports is getting at least a silver medal, TC Sports Club has won a gold medal for the country. Youth Minister Irthishaam Adam also visited the airport last night to welcome TC Sports Club. She praised for their hard work and encouraged them to keep up their good work.
