Maldives Association of Construction Industries MACI have called everyone to refrain from obstructing huge investments and national developments.
MACI released a statement regarding this issue today. Abdullah Muhammad a senior figure of MACI said that obstructing any development project conducted by the government no matter how small or big it is will result in damages to the nation. He said all industries and individuals in the country will be affected if any project is halted.
“Today we issued a statement because we do not support halting any developmental projects. We will never support stopping a project of a government or a company in anyway” said Abdullah Muhammad.
Abdullah Muhammad said that there is no project conducted by the government that should be halted for any reason. “When foreign investors conduct projects in Maldives, it will be beneficial for the country. Opposition will always make political statements. But mega projects will always benefit the country” said Abdullah.
Abdullah Muhammad is the owner of Amin Construction one of the largest construction companies in Maldives.
