ALIA Construction has been contracted with developing the 9 story building of Bandaara Koshi.
In a ceremony held at coast guard building today State Minister of Defense Ministry Muhammad Zuhair signed the contract on behalf of the ministry. Muhammad Atho Ali the managing director of ALIA signed on behalf of the company.
The total cost of the project is 133,486,443.43 Rufiyaa and the project should be completed within 365 days.
Speaking at the ceremony today Defense Minister Adam Shareef Umar said that when the building is completed the services delivered from Bandaara Koshi will develop. He said that the project was awarded to ALIA because it is a reputable and a responsible company in the Maldivian market.
The building will consist of an office complex, an accommodation block, a hall for functions, a zone for prayers and a parking zone.
