King Salmaan has cancelled his trip to Maldives. He was scheduled to visit Maldives on Saturday.
Speaking to the press at the president’s office this morning, Foreign Minister Muhammad Asim said that the king’s trip has been delayed and the new date will be announced later.
Dr.Asim said that the trip was delayed because of the ongoing influenza outbreak in Maldives. Miadhu News has learned that previously the King was scheduled to take part in a function open to the public.
Dr.Asim noted that Maldives and Saudi Arabia has close relations and the relations are becoming stronger.
