Jumuhoory Party have stated that they will officially begin the campaign for local council elections on 19th March.
JP said that the ceremony will be held at the office of JP, M.Kunooz at 2030 hours. In this ceremony, candidates running on behalf of JP will be given the party tickets.
Meanwhile, VTV has started a media campaign to promote JP candidates last Wednesday. JP said that their candidates will contest in all the atolls and they delayed their campaign launching ceremony due to the ongoing outbreak of influenza.
The ceremony will be attended by the leader of JP Qasim Ibrahim, deputy leaders and members of JP. All other interested supporters can take part in the function as well.
