A Chinese company to buy shares of TMA
Sources say that a Chinese company have expressed interest in buying shared of Trans Maldivian Airways.

According to China Daily, Zonshen Group a company which manufactures generators and engines have expressed interest in buying shares of TAM. The company is trying to be the largest aircraft operator in China and the company belongs to Chonkin city of China.

The newspaper further said that the company offered billions of Yuan to buy shares. In addition, the company is also trying to buy shares from an airline in the US

It is not clear how many shares the company is interested in buying. TMA has the largest seaplane fleet in the world. They have 44 aircrafts and over 100,000 journeys are made every year.

TMA is owned by Kasa Holdings of Champa Afeef and Black Stone Group of USA.
