MP for Villi-maafannu constituency Ahmed Nihan have said that the speaker of the parliament cannot be changed even if everyone who are fleeing from the law and those who are in self-imposed exile with the help of Jews, gather in Sri Lanka.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Nihaan said Maldivians do not believe stories by the opposition anymore. He said that they want to change the speaker of the parliament to obstruct developmental projects. Nihaan said that their aim is to scare foreign investors by showing that Maldives is unstable.
In addition, he said that even if a vote is taken it will show that the government is capable. “ The government enjoys the trust of the people and the parliament. Even if a vote is taken at the parliament or in an election it will be proven. Hence any vote will be a win for the government” said Nihaan.
In the past three years, the government has projects worth more than 3 billion dollars. Many of these projects are being conducted even now. The government have stated that new mega projects will be started this year.
