Appeal hearing of Sheikh Imran has been scheduled for 21st of March.
Sheikh Imran’s lawyer Ali Zahir said that the hearing has been scheduled at 10:15 am on 21st of March. Imran was sentenced to 12 years in prison by the criminal court for inciting violence and promoting terrorism during the May Day rally in 2015. After Imran appealed the case, the last hearing was held early 2016.
Even though all the hearings of the case has been held since the judges presiding over the case has been changed, it is unlikely that a verdict will be reached soon.
