JP will issue a three line whip to remove Abdullah Maseeh, the speaker of the parliament. In a council meeting held by JP this afternoon, the Deputy Leader of JP Dr.Hussain Rasheed issued a motion to issue a three line whip and it was passed with the consensus of the 25 members in the meeting.
The Secretory General of the party, Ahmed Sameer said that the PG group will fully respect the council of the party and all MPs of JP will vote based on the decision made by the council.
In addition, the motion proposed by Dr.Hussain also recommended to give the JP leader all the authority to work with MDP and AP in the national reform movement. This was passed by the council as well.
Meanwhile, earlier today JP leader Qasim Ibrahim have stated that he will never support President Yameen ever again.
