42 MPS of PPM has pledged not to vote against speaker Maseeh in the no confidence motion filed by the opposition.
They pledged during a press conference held today by PPM and MDA. All the members said that they will not vote to remove Maseeh and that removing him will obstruct the development of the nation. Some members said that while their constituents want Maseeh to remain as the speaker of the parliament, they will not allow Maseeh to be removed.
The leader of PPM PG group Ahmed Nihaan said that PPM MPs are in solidarity and no one from PPM PG group will vote to remove the speaker.
