Economic Minister Muhammad Saeed have said that the discussions regarding free trade agreements with Hong Kong will be concluded in the third meeting.
He made this statement while speaking at the second round of meetings held with officials from Hong Kong. He said that he is happy with the progress of the discussions and noted that the talks with China has also concluded now.
Minister Saeed said that the President wishes to form relations with the strongest economies of the world and to revolutionize the economy of Maldives. He said that free trade agreements will play a key role in this process.
Previously the minister said that Maldives will focus on developing financial capability of Maldives while working with Hong Kong. The ongoing discussions at Bandos Island resort will end on 30th March.
