Maldives Police Service has sent a summon order to Qasim Ibrahim, the leader of JP.
The order asks Qasim to be present at the police station tonight at 8:30 pm. The reason for the summon states that it is regarding an ongoing investigation.
Meanwhile the police are investigating two cases related to Abdullah Riyaz the deputy leader of JP. Abdullah Riyaz was summoned to the police station yesterday and questioned.
In addition, the police has confiscated mobile phones of Riyaz and Ali Hussain the MP for Kendhoo under court orders.
