Police has pushed back the supporters of Qasim Ibrahim who gathered near the police station, when Qasim was summoned by the police. They have been sent back to Baazaaru Area now.
Deputy Leader of JP, Abdullah Riyaz said that Qasim was summoned to the police to do a video analysis on the speech given by Qasim on 26thMarch during a party gathering. Since Qasim’s speech was televised live, everyone in Maldives heard what he said and even the police heard it.
Abdullah Riyaz said that the case was filed at the police by the PG office. Those who gathered near MMA said that they gathered not to protest but to show support for Qasim Ibrahim.
