Leader of Jumhooree party Qasim Ibrahim have said that he was summoned to police station today, to do a video analysis of the speech he gave on 26th March and to take a photograph.
Qasim made this statement speaking to the press after spending 1 hour 45 minutes inside the police station.
He said that these actions of the police are an attempt to obstruct the opposition movement. He said that however, they will not stop the reform movement. In addition, Qasim said that the rights of many are being violated and some people should go out and fight for these rights. He promised to remain with the movement started by the three opposition leaders.
Even today Qasim praised the professionality of Maldives Police Service.
