Getset, the government’s soft loan scheme to assist young entrepreneurs for this year is open for application.
According to the economics ministry application forms will be issued to people who are aged between 18 and 35. The application should be submitted as a joint application with someone from the same age group. The application forms will be accepted from 16th to 27th March according to the ministry.
The application can be submitted to the ministry and also can be submitted online via the ministry’s website. Relevant information regarding the loan is published on the ministry’s website.
Under this program 25 million Rufiyaa will be given as loans. Sums between 300,000 and 800,000 will be given as loans. According to economic ministry, 90 percent of the previous recipients of Getset loans are now successful entrepreneurs.
