MP for Villingili constituency, Saud Hussain has joined the opposition. He said that he believes that the president of PPM is Maumoon and he joined the opposition to be with Maumoon.
Ga.Villingili is the island of former President Maumoon’s mother. Maumoon enjoys great support from the island and they refer to him as “the man from our island”.
Maumoon’s son Faaris Maumoon said that some more parliamentarians will join the opposition soon. He said that they are waiting for a good opportunity. He said that everyone should accept that when MP’s leave the government’s side they will face some challenges.
