Women on Boards gives a special award to the first lady .

First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim has been given a special award by Women on Boards for her work in empowering women in Maldives.

In the award ceremony held tonight by Women on Boards, the award was given to the first lady by Fathimath Shafeega the president of Women on Boards.



The first lady is doing a lot of work and putting lot of efforts to empower women financially and socially.

Recently the first lady organized an expo for women to display their talents. More than 700 women took part in the expo and were able to promote their products and market them.

The first lady gave a special message to women on boards.
