Chairman of Villa Shipping and Trading, Qasim Ibrahim have said that it would be better to deduct 18 million dollars from the money the state owes to Villa Shipping and Trading.
Speaking at a rally held at Kunooz by the opposition tonight, Qasim said that the money the state should pay to Villa according to the High Court verdict is more than the amount MIRA is demanding Villa to pay. Qasim said that he has heard that MIRA and AG are discussing to auction off the properties of Villa Shipping to get 18 million dollars. He said that, it will not be something that will be considered as just.
Even tonight, Qasim said that Villa does not owe any money to the state. He said that if the government is to seize any money from the company it should be done unjustly. He said that he is not worried about injustices being committed against him.
Qasim said that if his property or anyone else’s property is seized unjustly Allah will give back more than that. He said that since this is what the revelation from Allah states and hence he is not worried about his property being seized by the government unjustly.
In addition, Qasim said that he grew up really poor and he became wealthy because Allah gave him wealth withn his sincere and hard work. He said that hence, he will not worry if the wealth Allah has given him is taken by Allah. He also said that he is not worried about being jailed under unjust charges. He said that he requested his family also not to worry about it.
Qasim said that he is working for reform because Allah has commanded humans to do that and hence he take it as a religious and national obligation. Qasim said that since he is doing something commanded by Allah, he is not worried about being punished for doing that.
Furthermore, he said that no matter how many armed soldiers and how many doctors you surround yourself with, angel of death cannot be stopped.
He said that everyone will die when their time comes and no one cannot escape the questions that will be asked in the hereafter. He said that hence everyone should do what is right.
Qasim asked everyone not to be unjust towards each other. “No matter how much you repent, injustices towards other people will not be forgiven unless the one who got oppressed forgives you. So everyone should think about this” said Qasim Ibrahim.
