The spokesperson of the President’s Office, Ibrahim Muaz Ali said that the government is closely monitoring the investigation on Raudha’s death.
A tweet by Muaz says that the government is providing required assistance in the case. He said that the government of Maldives is in solidarity with Raudha’s family and the government believes that the questions regarding her death should be answered.
While a lot of people are questioning the nature of her death a team from Maldives Police Service is now in Bangladesh to work on the case. So far, they have managed to unlock Raudha’s phone and obtained important information regarding the investigation.
However, they have not revealed any details of what they have found. This is the first time the government has said something about this. A lot of people suspect that Raudha was murdered.
