Deputy Leader of JP, Abdullah Riyaz and former Defence Minister Ameen Faisal’s trials has been scheduled for tomorrow at the criminal court.
Abdullah Riyaz’s hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am tomorrow morning while Ameen Faisal’s hearing is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm in the afternoon.
The state has charged Abdullah Riyaz with obstructing a law enforcement officer in carrying out duty. Riyaz said that he denies these allegations.
Ameen Faisal is being charged for terrorism. He is being charged for terrorism because he arrested President Yameen during MDP administration. At the time Ameen Faisal was the defense minister and the then MP Abdullah Yameen was arrested by the military against his will.
