Maldives Police Service has finished searching the premises of Villa House and Maafannu Villa. They conducted this operation as part of the ongoing investigation on Qasim Ibrahim.
Qasim's Lawyer Hisaan Hussein said that the police has given a written statement which says that they did not find anything related to the investigation during the operation.
Police are still searching Villa Building. Qasim said that the police will do what is required in the investigation and asked everyone not to do anything that might create unrest.
Qasim is now in Villa Building.
