10 comfort chairs donated to people with disabilities
10 comfort chair has been donated to people with disabilities.

Disabilities ambassador Ahmed Hishan said that 9 of these were donated by Aishath Najuma, who is among the next of kin of Nasira Abdullah. He said that 200,000 Rufiya was spent by Najuma for the chairs. Hisham said that the other person who donated the chair wishes to remain anonymous.

In a ceremony held at STO Henveyru Pharmacy 6 of these chairs were handed over to people with special needs.

Hishaam said that the remaining 4 chairs will be given on 22nd of this month in a ceremony at Kulhudhuhfushi Police Station.
Three of them will be given to three people in Kulhudhuhfushi and one will be given to a person in Nolhivaram.
These chairs will help people with challenged mobility to move around. The chairs are electric and remote controlled. The price of each chair is around 22,000 Rufiyaa.

Those who received the chairs said that this was a huge gift and that they are happy because this will enable them to go to the mosque without any assistance.

STO pharmacy provides charging services at the pharmacy and at IGMH.
The ceremony was attended by some senior officials of STO and Mp Abdullah Rifaau.
