STO to provide equipment needed for people with disabilities at discounted rates

Even now STO provides various equipment needed for people with disabilities. STO stated that they will being more equipment and sell it at affordable prices to people with disabilities.

Items available at STO pharmacies include, comfort chairs, crutches, and things like special spoons. Usually when the rubber tip at the end of the crutch worn out, the crutch is thrown away. However, STO is now providing the rubber tips as well.

The spoons available at STO are suitable for people who has problems in the neck. Since the spoon rotates in various ways it will be easy for people with such problems. Abdullah Wisham of STO said that they are trying to bring various products specialized for people with disabilities. “ Those include the umbrella that can be attached to the comfort chair. We will make sure that these items are available outside Male’ as well” said Wisham.

Former Disabilities Ambassador Ahmed Hishan said that in addition to providing all these items for people with disabilities, STO gives their service with compassion. He said that hence STO plays a key role in delivering the government pledge of providing service with compassion.
