Even if I am shot dead will not break my determination : Will make independent institutions responsible : Qasim

Qasim Ibrahim have said that his determination will not break even if he is shot with an AK 47 rifle and that he will make independent institutions responsible.

Speaking at a gathering held by the opposition at Kunooz tonight, Qasim said that he does not want anyone to act with impunity in Maldives and wants to carry out the affairs of the country in accordance with the laws.

He said that the country will develop only when those who are responsible in upholding the law do their duties. Qasim said that so far all the achievements of Maldives are due to upholding of laws.
