MP Ibrahim Shareef have said that JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim is the leader of leaders and a lot of people are worried that the government has arrested such leader.
Speaking at a gathering held at Kunooz by the opposition last night Shareef said that so far only two democratic elections has been held in the Maldives and both candidates who won the election were supported by Qasim Ibrahim. He said that hence he is the leader who create leaders who lead the nation.
Shareef said that there is no reason why the government should worry about the activities of the opposition because they are only trying to put the government on the right path. “Opposition is trying to free the independent institutions” said Shareef.
He said that Maldivians are not being treated equally. He said the opposition are trying to ensure that the government treats and serve all the people equally and that they will achieve that.
