First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim has inaugurated the conference on inclusive education. The conference will be held for 3 days with 243 participants. The main purpose of the conference is to appoint an ambassador in every school who will monitor the situation of special needs children in the school and to train teachers for this post.
The government is working hard to provide education to students with special needs. This conference will also help the government’s efforts.
In the opening ceremony of the conference, the work done by the first lady to help people with special needs were recognized.
