Secretory General of JP, Ahmed Sameer have said that JP Leader Qasim Ibrahim’s only request from the people of Maldives is to say and do what is right and to remain making Dua.
Speaking at a gathering held by the opposition last night at Kunooz, Sameer said that no matter how many days Qasim is kept in a jail cell, it is not possible for anyone to snatch away the love people of Maldives has for Qasim Ibrahim. He said that the love people have for Qasim will keep on increasing.
In addition, Sameer said that the government learned Aasandha today and Qasim created unlimited Aasandha long back and has been helping the people through jis own Aasandha wirh open budget. Furthermore, he said that Qasim has helped thousands of students to obtain higher education.
Sameer said that talks of Qasim’s services to the nation will never end because of his numerous services. Sameer said that Qasim made these services to the people from his own hard earned money.
Sameer said punishing Qasim in a small Jail cell will never change love to him by the people to another person but it will increase only.
Sameer noted that Qasim is in a jail cell not because he has no option to live in luxury and that the people of Maldives knows that he is in jail for the people. “ Qasim’s only desire is to provide the people of Maldives with the same blessings given to his family by Allah to other Maldivians as well” said Sameer.
Qasim’s only request is to say what is right, and to remain making Dua : Sameer
