Amanaa Takaaful has been made the insurance partner of Guest House Association of Maldives. An agreement was signed between Amanaa Takaaful and Guest House Association of Maldives in a ceremony held at the office of Amanaa Takaaful.
Officials from Amanaa Takaaful said that under this agreement, members of Guest House Association will get a special package with discount rates. In addition, they said that they introduced this package because the costs are high when different components are insured separately. Furthermore they said that since Guest House Association of Maldives has over 400 members, this will benefit the entire tourism industry.
Guest House Association stated that they decided to go with Amanaa Takaaful because their services are sharia compliant and because they introduced a special package for guest houses. They also noted that guest houses in Maldives are managed in accordance with Islamic principles, it is important to have related ventures that are compliant with sharia.
