President Yameen have said that once the 25-story building of IGMH is completed, the people will have to spend just a fraction of the money that is being spent abroad now.
Speaking at a rally held by PPM last night, the president said that the price of the services from that building will be low because it will be given by the government and because the building will be owned by the people. In addition, the president said that it is the parliament and the government which will decide on how to spend on such project.
The president said that the services will be top notch and capable doctors and facilities will be established there. Health Minister Nazim said that the project is going on as scheduled and once it is completed the health sector of Maldives will be revolutionized. The total project costs 240 million dollars and it is being financed from the state budget.
