In the ongoing local council elections, there has been reports of the head of polling stations being more powerful than the elections commission.
The Deputy President of EC said that the polling stations where there were delays, will get extra time to vote. However, the head of the polling station said that it will be closed at 4:00 pm.
Meanwhile, voting started in no two ballot box of Galolhu-south without counting the ballot papers. In another case a voter found that a vote has already been casted under his name when he went for voting.
People are concerned about this because the EC was in charge of this box. Hence people are questioning the integrity of the vote due to these things.
