PPM have called the opposition not to create unrest and stated that the election results is democracy.
Speaking at a press conference held at PPM’s office a while ago, PPM PG leader Nihaan Hussein Manik said that former President Nasheed tweeted earlier this morning that the government will rig the votes. He said that the purpose of this is to encourage violence.
Nihaan said that some members belonging to the opposition tried to enter the Election Commission’s office and that he condemns this action. He said that, also some people tried to create unrest near the voting stations and he condemned this as well.
Nihaan said that the election is being conducted infront of the media and hence there is no reason to create unrest.
