Milo Inter school handball competition has ended. Over 915 students took part in the competition.
President of the Olympic Committee Muhammad Shaveed, VP of FAM Aishath Nazima, MD of Sports Corporation Abdul Razzaq Ibrahim, Nestle Milo Marketing Executive Manidha Vithana, members of the sports council and school heads took part in the closing ceremony of the competition. The competition was organized by Handball Association of Maldives.
In this year’s tournament 14 schools competed. Under 12 girls and boy’s division was won by Jamaaluhdheen school. Handball Association of Maldives gave a special gift to all participants of this age group.
Under 14 girl’s category was won by Muhiyyidheen school while the boys category was won by Thaajuhdheen school. In under 16, girl’s category was won by Maafushi school. This is the second consecutive time Maafushi school won from this category. Meanwhile Dharumavantha School won the boy’s category.
